Wal-mart Shoppers

From time to time I like to shop at Wal-Mart for their fantastic prices and unique variety of Wal-mart shoppers. It seems every time I visit, I see a fashion statement I fall in love with :)

During this visit, my daughter and I saw a big guy, probably around 250, 6′3 run by and disappear into one of the aisles. Shortly after, we spotted him again with three other guys, dragging what appeared to be a teenager about 5′8 weighing roughly 150 into the security room.

No sooner did they enter the hallway than the shoplifter came running out and was quickly tackled by the line backer mentioned above and three other men shown in the picture below.

I took that opportunity to explain to my seven year old daughter that this happens to people who steal; that the guys who took him down are security men and were taking him into a room to call the police when the teenager decided to run away, a second time, and had to be stopped.

The police showed up, as well as an ambulance (looks like his arm is going to hurt for awhile) and the rest is history; I was told the whole incident was over a couple of cd’s.

By the way, if you want to see some really unique Wal-mart shoppers, you should check out Peopleofwalmart.com :) – BTW, did you catch the guy with the cart in the background? He just blocked out the whole incident and kept on walking :)
