Here is spam if I ever saw it! Profitimo sent me this message this morning on one of my popular sites, a site that has ranked #1 for about 4 years now!

To top it off, they used an email address from my whois record which is illegal. Profitimo is likely running a malfunctioning script (My site ranks #1, not #4) that is reporting bizarre results and then using those results to mass email website owners.

If you are looking to SEO your site, do your own research. There are just too many companies out there that claim they are skilled at SEO yet can’t even get their site in the top rankings. If a site is seo’d right, you’ll rank high and never need to spam people to obtain their business.
