Pam was on vacation with her family and mugged at gunpoint. Her credit card was stolen, her money and police are not really helping her out.
Through all this, Pam still managed to find the time to email a million people and ask for their help, indirectly… This is the scam I received in an email today. The goal is most likely to put out this story without asking for help directly, in hopes that someone will write back.
Perhaps someone might write back and offer words of support and when they do, the scammers will turn up the heat, play on that kindness and eventually end up taking a ton of money from an unsuspecting person – don’t let that person be you!

I’m sorry for this odd request and I’m writing this with tears on my eyes due to the situation of things right now,I’m stuck in London United Kingdom with my family,we came down here on vacation and we got Mugged at GUNPOINT.. worse of it was that cash cell phone and credit cards were stolen , it’s such a crazy and terrifying experience for us, we need help flying back home, the authorities are not being 100% helping, but the good thing is that we still have our passports…Our return flight Leave back home Today,But i still have problem in sorting out the hotel bills ..

The email came from pamelaann777@gmail.com – do not write back as this is a scam and posted here to help make you aware.
The same thing has happened to me with my hotmail account and I get the account back and with in minutes they have it back … It took 3 days to get the password reset and I had to give my IP address and everything and yet they get it changed in minutes???
I contacted police, RCMP, phonebusters, scotland yard, western union and nobody could care less they address they want the money sent to is a newstand owned by someone with a foreign name which is 2 doors down from a western union office…
This just happened to me yesterday. Whats worse was when I went to check my email after being called to tell everyone it was a hoax and I am fine. I had been locked out of my gmail account. the password had been reset.
So I went to my facebook, and he had locked me out of there too. Shortly after I got a call from a friend telling me that money was on the way. I asked what money, she told me that she just western unioned me 200 dollars.
I still have no access to my gmail. I have informed gmail.com, but they have no number I could dial. So I emailed them through my new yahoo account, and they just keep telling me, contact other people. So, the count is still alive, and the hacker is still running it , and I cant even deactivate it.
What a treat this guy is
