Paginated Comments
So you have a Wordpress site and it’s become more popular then you expected, so popular in fact, you find yourself dealing with 100’s of comments. Deal with it the wrong way and you lose valuable content and risk a good ranking for your hard work. Deal with it the right way and you not only end up with countless pages of content, but may just find yourself in the top search results!
The problem is in the way big sites deal with multiple comments. Many just turn off comments to prevent slow load times, while others use plugins that format the pages incorrectly or just don’t consider how search engines see your comments.
Paginated Comments was developed out of a need to manage the comments on BadSpiderBites.com. I have a ton of comments and many have pictures attached to them; although I had found a few plugins that would help me manage the comments, none seemed search engine friendly to the extent I expected.
There are a ton of features but the four most important ones are these:
- Ability to page comments based on size of page or number of comments.
- Ability to add your own title tags, keywords and descriptions.
- Compatable with Super Cache and other caching tools.
- Friendly Urls
