Michigan Ice Fishing

There is nothing like Michigan Ice Fishing and the best spot in Michigan to ice fish is in Muskegon. Record fish are caught here every winter and as you can see from these pictures, it’s a city on ice!

Lunar Eclipse Pics, what else can I say? We were fortunate enough to have a clear sky the night of the Eclipse and captured these photos which really don’t compare to seeing it with the naked eye!

Bald Eagle Facts

Had this picture of the American Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) on my memory card and am just now getting around to posting it.

The eagle was sitting in front of the beach perched on a cinder block. I took the picture with a zoom lens and was very quiet yet the eagle’s keen senses instantly picked up on my movement.

Deer Pictures

I took these deer pictures yesterday as I was looking down towards the lake. It’s ice fishing time here is Alaska and the guys were bringing out their ice shanty’s, they spooked a heard of deer.

There are two ice shanty’s our there now, but later in the day, it turns into a little city on ice!

Yahoo Letter to Stockholders

I’ve got a lot of stock in Yahoo! (couldn’t afford Goog) and recently made another large purchase at $24 per share, since then, I’ve watched the stock go down to almost $18 per share until Microsoft showed an interest and the price rose to almost $30!

Rothbury Music Festival

If you’re a big fan of the Dave Matthews band, then you will not want to miss the Rothbury Music Festival in Rothbury Michigan.

It’s hosted at the Word Class Double J Resort with Rothbury packages and tickets going on sale 2/27/08. Campers will love this concert and for those that just have to have a room, there are some awesome accommodation’s as well!

For those of you that have worked the helpdesk, you’ll appreciate this video. It is the perfect example of top notch technical support and if you watch close, the support technician never belittles the customer or makes him feel uncomfortable in any way.

iTunes Privacy

I updated my ipod software today and reading the TOS (you do read Terms Of Service statements, right?), I found a few items that I highlighted in bold. Basically, the contract states that information about your system and peripherals will be collected. They go on to state that none of this information will have your personal information attached to it, but does that really matter?
