I have always thought it would be extremely educational to pick a handicap and live with it for a day or two. We could have a national awareness day where everyone picks a handicap and tries to function with the disability as they go about their daily routines.

Staying at a Holiday Inn Express? We did here is a copy of the Holiday Inn Express wireless internet access agreement we had to sign. We were visiting in Okemos and usually stay at the Marriott in East Lansing at $200 per night, plus $10 for internet access and $10 for breakfast. They had a pool but after a few stays, you realize how beat up the rooms are from students and parties.
Ice Shanty
Well, the ice fishing season has come to an end and this year we were fortunate enough not to have any fatalities, however, we did have one ice shanty that just isn’t going to make it.

Michigan Ice Fishing
There is nothing like Michigan Ice Fishing and the best spot in Michigan to ice fish is in Muskegon. Record fish are caught here every winter and as you can see from these pictures, it’s a city on ice!

Lunar Eclipse Pics, what else can I say? We were fortunate enough to have a clear sky the night of the Eclipse and captured these photos which really don’t compare to seeing it with the naked eye!

Bald Eagle Facts
Had this picture of the American Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) on my memory card and am just now getting around to posting it.
The eagle was sitting in front of the beach perched on a cinder block. I took the picture with a zoom lens and was very quiet yet the eagle’s keen senses instantly picked up on my movement.
Deer Pictures
I took these deer pictures yesterday as I was looking down towards the lake. It’s ice fishing time here is Alaska and the guys were bringing out their ice shanty’s, they spooked a heard of deer.
There are two ice shanty’s our there now, but later in the day, it turns into a little city on ice!
