I received the same email and have been corresponding with them, is this for real or is it a scam? I have not given them any money and I told them I would not be giving them any money, But if I really won it I should be able to receive it fee free, they said there is no other way and I said oh well then. Please somebody let me know I do feel like this is a scam but I want to be sure I did not just turn down over a million dollars.

I also was one of the few{thousand) That recieved a winning email. Notice all of the incorrect grammar, spelling and stuff that makes no sense like Microsoft and AOL teaming up together? Yeah right. IT IS A SCAM!!! I hear they will actually send you a check and allow it to clear, ask you to send part of the money back for fees and then the check comes back as forged and your are responsible for it all. I got two email from two different people that were very similair one from a microsoft company and one from the solid rock company and i noticed they looked very unprofessional as well as being from regular email addresses and emails that were free like hotmail and then i looked them up on google and there were a tremendous amount of artilces on them which said they were fakes and frauds don’t give your information or any billing info! its a scam!!! these people must be stopped!

it says “BRITISH MICROSOFT E-MAIL SELECT AWARD FROM HEAD OFFICES LONDON”…but check the email address of the sender…mine states “micro_soft078@hotmail.co.jp”…Its .jp meaning japan..its a little ironic its a british company using hotmail account created in japan..

This is the exact same scam as the one from Nigeria a few years ago. They say you won money and will send it to you but they charge you a FEE for the money transfer. TRUST ME, YOU WILL NEVER RECEIVE ANY MONEY. I am surprised Microsoft hasn’t denounced this yet.
