I’ll be reviewing the Lake House Waterfront Grille next to the Shoreline Inn soon. This use to be the old Raffertys and is now managed by Doug Pollock.
It’s now open and Doug promises a contemporary restaurant the caters to both business and leisure customers alike with fantastic food creations from experienced pros.
Lake House Waterfront Grille is located next to Terrace Point Marina and features an outdoor bar and scenic seating you’ll be able to relax and enjoy not only the lake, but the impressive assortment of watercraft making their way to and from the Marina.
Note: They also rent jet-skis!

More to come soon!

Just ate there yesterday for dinner. Had a crab stuff lobster that was fantastic! The view is excellent and the staff were on top of everything!
My only complaint is that they don’t have any umbrella’s! Direct sunlight, hot, on your face and made an otherwise great dinner no so great.
Until they get umbrellas for shade, I’d suggest easting inside or visiting Dockers, where you have the option to sit outside with or without shade.
Had lunch there on Monday. They have a buffet with a fantastic soup, salad and amazing sandwiches!
Looking for a healthy yet tasty lunch with the best view around? This is it! Third time there!
By the way, learned about the Arnold Plamer drink and highly recommend it! It’s made with half iced tea and half lemonade. There is the nighttime version based on this drink called the John Daly which has vodka added to it.
At there on Friday and had some jerk chili soup from their side bar, wow, I can honestly say this is one of the best chili soups I’ve had! Food bar was good also :)
Ben, it sounds like you were the one that ruined the dinner! You walked out and left your family behind? Sure it wasn’t your hair?
I’ve eaten here 5 times now and always, the food was exceptional and service great. So besides apologizing and offering you a free desert, what else did you expect? Free meals for everyone? Free nights stay?
Stop letting folks know how awesome the place is or it will get to popular and we’ll have a long wait to get served! Just kidding (kind of). Best meal AND service, Mika, your great and best I have had (excluding the Hearthstone) in Muskegon in, well ever.
Great dining in Muskegon starts here. Everything about the dinner was great. My wife had the delicious Caprese salad full of flavor and the fried perch dinner with way too many French fries……great dinner. I had the Clam-Broccoli soup which had just enough kick added to make it wonderful. The house Parmesan-garlic bread is made in-house and is to kill for. I had the Risotto Duck thinking I’d have a piece of duck on a pile of Risotto. But it was one of the tastiest dinner’s I’ve ever had with pieces of duck mixed with risotto in a tasty cream sauce. The whole experience was A-1 including by service from Micah……nice evening. Got there at 5:30 and by 6:30 it was almost a full house.
Great food, great service. The view on the lake is incredible, and the remodeled restaurant is beautiful. And ben, sounds like you ruined the night when you cried over a hair. I am sure that they tried to remake it for you, and you just wanted to milk it out.
The lake house grille is without question, great, but they are second to Mia and Graces who currently hold the top spot for best food in Muskegon!
Best damn food I have ate in the town of muskegon in 23 years if any other are so called award winning they wont be for long!!!!
Great food, and is a reasonable price. For the price you pay you get your money worth in the amount of food you receive. I highly recommend it!
