Here are two emails that were given to me by a visitor. The visitor suspected something was up, but didn’t know what exactly.
Here is the scam. The email (poorly written) is aimed at men that do not completely trust their wives and proposes that they have information that the spouse is cheating. They will provide the evidence free and if you are convinced, that is when you pay. However, they will ask you for details about your wife, such as credit card numbers (so they can track purchases), license plate numbers, drivers license numbers and more.
The whole goal is to obtain personal information that would not be given out under normal circumstances. This information will then be used to steal you identity and drain your funds.
The following are two emails are are currently circulating.

Subject: Re: IS YOUR WIFE CHEATING ON YOU?
Your wife is cheating on you and has been for years, and we can prove it. Maybe we have contacted you falsely and we apologize for that. Someone has contacted our firm with proof that your wife has cheated on you. I guess you feel confident in your relationship with your wife and that she is faithful. We apologize for the inconvenience and will not send you any additional emails.
If you do feel that we have contacted you correctly, you need to have us compile the evidence which we will do for free and give to you upon completion and satisfaction on your part that the evidence is valid at that point will talk about compensation. Most of our fees are very reasonable and usually average out at around $250 to $350 to our clients.
We provide text message proof, pictures, video and audio confirmation. It is vital that you don’t discuss these emails with your wife so she doesn’t change her current patterns or people she sees for us to gather this information. Our informant has provided enough info on your wife for us to contact you, so it is up to you do you want to really find out what your wife has been up to or not.
