I received an email that the Gmail Team Google will close my account if I don’t respond with my account name, password and birth date. Although I know Google would never request my password, it does appear to come from a gmail account (but in Nauru).
It’s a scam and if you respond, you are sure to loose your account!
The email is attached below:

Subject Line: Remember that Gmail is built on the idea that email can be intuitive, efficient, and useful. And maybe even fun.
Message: Gmail wants to enhance fast and very efficient networking. We therefore want to permanently close some gmail accounts that are not used regularly. For your account not to be closed, provide the required details below for proper verification.

Although I know Google would never request my password, it does appear to come from a gmail account this email was from supports@vir.net and was appear as from Google mail and unfortunately I was gave my secure information and my mail medix.eg@gmail.com was taken off. I have sent many submitting to gmail but have no reply.
kindly advise how I can do to recover my mail

this is probably phising. i have seen other email messages from others asking about this, and it is just like this but from different emails and different time within replying. if this was really a message from the Gmail team, every Gmail user wouldve gotten it. my friends and i use Gmail, and we havent recieved this message.
