Free Reverse Cell Phone Directory
I received this comment promoting a free reverse cell phone directory but if you really want to find a cell number, you are better off performing your own search, the trick is how you search!
The email below attempts to convince you that paying for this service is necessary and that accurate results are not possible without using a service to produce your results.
That is completely inaccurate and in fact, most of the reverse directories simply search using a method you are not familiar with, a method that produces great results which they then present to you as if it came from their collection of numbers. Here is the comment I received today:
Many people wish to find the owner of a particular cell phone number, and to do this they want to know if there are free options for reverse cell phone lookups. Unfortunately, there really is no completely free directory. The only way to insure you are receiving accurate and complete information is to pay a light fee.
There are many websites out there which claim to be free reverse cell phone directories, but many of these will only give you information on the carrier or the location which issued the cell phone number, not the owner of the number.
Why is There no Free Directory?
You may think to yourself, for what reason does no free reverse cell phone directory exist? After all, you may say, aren’t there websites which offer free lookups for land line phone numbers? What’s the difference between these and cell phone directories?
Well, cell phone numbers and land line numbers are classified differently as information. Information associated with land lines is considered to be in the public domain, this has been true for decades. No one’s ever asked your permission to list your home telephone number in the phone book, right? Most of the time you need to pay the phone book just to keep your name and home number out!
The service providers of cell phones charge you for every call, so for this reason cell phone numbers are considered “private”. It’s because of this that it’s more difficult to trace a cell phone number.
411 Wireless Directory
Some time ago, there were talks about building a directory of cell phone numbers. The various cell phone service providers would have placed the numbers of their customers in this directory and it would be publicly available. The idea has been abandoned (for now) due to concerns about telemarketers and privacy.
However, the idea of putting together a reverse cell phone directory still remains possible. It can, and already has, been done! But because building a reverse cell phone directory entails manually entering data from millions of different records it can be a massive undertaking. With so much time and effort involved it’s only natural the service would carry a fee. Even then, many reverse cell phone directories don’t possess complete information in their databases.
However, by far the most complete and accurate reverse cell phone directory is
.
You don’t have to pay for this service and it is completly free. Over the next few days, I’ll show you how to search in a way that will produce some amazing results. More to come…

I am interested in your follow up I was scammed out of over $300K , I lost my business of 18 years and my home is in foreclosure. There is a guy that I believe was the ring leader of this scam. I have a cell number on him but have been unable to find out what his real name is. I think this might help so I will keep checking for your update. I need to get my money back, I know I may not. Worst myself and about 20 other people were putting money into Bank Of America and JP Morgan Chase Bank accounts in Florida and no one seems to think that is odd. I have filed a report with my local police, but so far nothing. I am trying to do some detective work on my own. I look forward to any tips you may have, This is the first time I have been to your site, I must say it is most interesting.
Thanks,
JH
