If people excersised more logic on this planet, scumbags like this wouldn’t even have any rights to be near a computer, let alone typewritter or pen and paper.
If your stupid enough to fall for an email that claims you won something (or asks you for something) and you never entered a draw, you deserve to have your account sucked dry.
Do most people out there really beleive that doctors, lawyers, ect, would inform you via email under either a Yahoo account or hotmail account and not know your name?

Just a quick question…I received the same “winner” email the other day, I agree obvious scam, but I don’t see how they get anything from you out of a phone number and an address. How do they actually scam you? I replied and told them I didn’t sign up for anything, to see what they would send me and they asked for an address, phone number and email address (which they already have). Just curious how these scams work if what they’re asking for is general/public information already?

What about the originating email address? I received my spam from what appears to be a real person/address in the Netherlands. Is he stupid to use his own email? Is he part of the scam? Or did he get his email address stolen and he doesn’t know? Here’s the address that I received my spam from:
