Disadvantages of Paypal
There are some big disadvantages of paypal, and this one is the most irritating!
I sell a number of products on the net and most are automated. When a visitor to my website purchases a product, they have the option to use Google Checkout, Paypal or Check.
Recently, a visitor made a purchase with an email address that contained blablablablabla in the name; Paypal froze my funds and started an investigation.
They stated they needed more information about the transaction and I explained to them that it was the same standard sale I’ve been making for years.
Today, I receive the following email indicating the transaction was reversed and money refunded back to the buyer.
We’ve concluded our investigation into the transaction detailed below.
Because we determined that you did not meet the eligibility requirements for the PayPal Seller Protection Policy, you are being charged for this reversed transaction. We’ve returned the funds to the PayPal account
holder, and your account will be debited for the amount of this transaction.———————————–

The Disadvantages of Paypal is that anyone buying a product using a strange looking email address may receive a full refund and keep the item they purchased as well.
If you create an email as in the example above, go to a site and buy something using paypal, chances are paypal will put the money back into your account automatically. In this case, the person didn’t file a complaint, Paypal’s automated security system simply kicked in and did the rest! By the time the investigation is completed, the buyer has received your product and you (the seller) just got scammed!
If you’re going to sell something on the net, do it with Google Checkout and skip paypal!
I’m thankful for paypal I ordered something for my son on December 15, 2009 it was shipped or that is what the seller told me on December 17, 2009. I have yet to received the item my son didnt get his Christmas gift and now I just want my money back so that I can to the store and get the present that he wanted. I have order from ebay before and used paypal and had no problem I even ordered stuff and the same time and received those items already. This gift was his most important gift and he has games to it but no console. His birthday is January 1, 2010 and I wont be able to get it by then I guest. I have contacted the seller just asking about the mailing information and never had received no information at all. No concern for his clients or no kind of professional responsibility. I just wanted to get my son somthing now Im having second thoughts on ordering due to this bad experience.
