One Response to “Debbie’s RC World Inc Paypal Forgery”

  1. Jody Says:

Two separate times in the past few weeks I have also received Phishing E-mails with the subject lines of, “Receipt for your payment to Debbie’s World, Inc.” and, “Receipt for your payment to Debbie’s RC World.” Each time I received one of these e-mails, it was not many minutes after I had made a payment through paypal to another vendor. DO NOT CLICK ON LINKS THROUGH EBAY E-MAILS THAT SAY “PAY NOW!!” I made this mistake, entered my password correctly - but was asked to re-enter it again. THIS IS HOW THEY CAPTURE YOUR INFO!! The first e-mail claimed I had paid out $275.00 and “my item will be shipped to an unverified address.” The second which I received today was taking a very long time to load, which tipped me off to close the page and log on directly to paypal where there were no charges listed. I will admit that the first e-mail had gotten me very concerned and I even called & e-mailed the real Debbie’s RC World in Virginia to give them a piece of my mind for processing an unauthorized charge. If that’s even a real place. Maybe I should have ordered something to find out? Whatever, the bottom line is that we all must be leary of anything seeming not quite right and vigilant to forward all info we can to spam@paypal.com to help put an end to each new daily scam. Also, ONLY LOG IN TO PAYPAL DIRECTLY for all inquiries, payments, etc. NEVER CLICK ON A LINK IN ANY SUSPICIOUS E-MAIL, and if this should happen to you, even if you don’t enter any info, CHANGE YOUR PAYPAL PASSWORD just to be safe!!! Best of luck to all. - Jody
