Cerebral Palsy - A Mother’s Perspective
I have always thought it would be extremely educational to pick a handicap and live with it for a day or two. We could have a national awareness day where everyone picks a handicap and tries to function with the disability as they go about their daily routines.
I’m confident that society would have a lot more respect for those faced with these challenges not to mention an increase in funding, research and technology if we would allot just one day to understand.
What would you do if you found out your child had Cerebral Palsy? What to find out? Here is a down to earth, real life website created by a mother with a son who has Cerebral Palsy.
TheCPchild.com will give you a mother’s perspective of dealing with CP and how inconsiderate and naive society can be!
If only all websites were as ‘real’ as this one!
