Bandwidth Test

This page is for support of my Bandwidth Test, actually, I have more than one ranging from Java to Flash.

Each of these tests help you measure the speed of your internet connection which sometimes vary from what you’re paying for.

If simply want to find out how fast your internet connection is, then take this internet speed test. It’s what I believe to be the most accurate bandwidth test on the internet!

I’ve made many of these tests available for download free of charge. There are a ton of sites offering downloads of their tests, but they contain hidden gotcha’s, such as recording who is taking your test and other data; with my tests, there are no ‘outside calls’ and you are in full control!

Using the Bandwidth Test for other than personal use.

If you plan on using my tests for other than personal use, such as an ISP or other business entity, then you’ll need to receive permission before using the test. The test is still free in it’s unmodified form and all I require is credit back on a page indexed by the search engines – this is how I promote my bandwidth meters.

If you would like a personalized version of the test without any reference to me, then there is a fee, but it is substantially less that any other test you’ll find out there!

I offer support for my free applications, but it may not happen right away. I try my best to respond in a timely manner but in most cases, it can take days. Update:
I’ll be releasing a new bandwidth test early next month. This test is very easy to install and comes with all the bells and whistles, including MySQL storage, tracking and variables so that you can tie results into your pages. It is the exact same test found on DSL Speed Check.org

In fact, the download will include all the code that makes the site in above example run! It will be a snap to change the colors and have your own speed test up in running in minutes.
