Annette Smedley

Annette Smedley has been practicing law for six years and has thousands of court appearances behind her belt. She interned at the U.S. Attorney’s office and Muskegon County prosecutor’s office. Annette practices in over five Michigan counties and graduated from Cooley Law School in Lansing.

Her grandmother and grandfather came to America through Ellis Island from Italy. They started a family business in Manistee Michigan before moving to Grand Haven Michigan. Annette Father worked two jobs one at National Products in Grand Haven and the other at CWC here in Muskegon county saving up enough to buy a building to start a restaurant. While running his restaurant Nino’s Inn here in Muskegon county he continued to work at CWC. Annette’s mother ran the restaurant and cared for the children.

Her parents were foster parents to over 65 children and has 4 adopted children. Annette has Three older brothers, two younger brothers and two younger sisters. She has been married 28 years to a veteran of the U.S. Navy and together they have raised 6 children. They have 5 grandchildren. She is a life long resident of Muskegon county. Having worked, lived and raised a family in Muskegon, she understands the needs of our growing community. “I would love the opportunity to be you next prosecutor. Together we can build a bright future for a stronger Muskegon County.”

Annette (republican) is running against Tony Tague (democrat) and Al Swanson (democrat) for Muskegon County Prosecutor. Annette works in the same law office as Al Swanson, 3006 Glade St, Muskegon, MI.

    Who cares about her family. The fact is that Annette has only been an attorney for SIX YEARS. THAT IS NOT ENOUGH EXPERIENCE!

    Family is everything! If a person has strong family values and is willing to share their history, then you are off to a great start. Six years is more than enough and when you have one person in office for too long, things can go down hill and people become complacent.

    I don’t see any information about Tony’s background being published; something many would like to have a closer look at! It’s time for change, Ann is that change and the time is now!

    Has anyone looked at Tony signs? There are sign ordinances and do you think the ordinance applies to him? Is he above that? Is that playing fair?
